About Richard

Hey there, my name is Richard.  I have done quite a bit of domestic wind turbine research and wanted to share my findings with you on this blog.  Wind power has always been a passionate interest of mine, but it wasn’t until I bought and renovated an old farm house that I really wanted to get started generating my own green power.

The house was ideal for a mixed approach that leveraged both solar panels and small wind turbines for a complete off grid solution.  I had a backup grid tie just in case but I was dedicated to minimizing my use of the grid and focusing on my green energy solutions.

I’ve tried to document everything here.  I hope you enjoy it!
